MHFA for Managers equips people managers and leaders with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to recognise when a team member may be experiencing poor mental health, start supportive and appropriate conversations, listen effectively, and signpost to the right sources of support. Building on the foundations of Mental Health First Aid®, the course translates core MHFA skills into everyday leadership practice through practical scenarios and real-world case studies. Managers learn how to create psychologically safe teams, set healthy boundaries, maintain confidentiality, and look after their own wellbeing, enabling them to support others in a sustainable way. For organisations, the course strengthens manager capability, reduces stigma, encourages early intervention, and helps build healthier, more engaged and high-performing teams.
