Can this replace spreadsheets for tracking staff certificates?
Yes. Manual tracking in spreadsheets is one of the most common ways compliance slips — renewal dates get missed and records fall out of date. Every MoreCPD business plan gives you a live dashboard showing exactly who's certified, who's due for renewal, and who's overdue, so nothing depends on someone remembering to update a sheet.
What happens if an employee's certificate is about to expire?
We send automatic email renewal reminders and expiry alerts ahead of time, so certificates don't lapse without anyone noticing. Managers can also see upcoming renewals at a glance from the reporting dashboard, rather than finding out after the fact.
Are we ready for an HSE visit or audit?
With any of our team plans (Starter and above), yes. Every completed course generates a certificate and a full audit trail for each learner, and you can export compliance reports on demand — so if a regulator, HSE inspector, or client asks for evidence of training, you can produce it immediately rather than searching through email, paper files, or spreadsheets.
How much does staff training cost per employee?
Our team plans start at £18/month for solo professionals and £45/month for small teams of up to 10 staff. Larger teams move into Growth (£95/month, 11–30 staff) and Business (£195/month, 31–75 staff) tiers, with custom Enterprise pricing for 75+ staff. All plans include certificate tracking as standard.
Can I add more staff or courses later?
Yes. You can add staff or additional courses at any time. In some cases this may involve an additional cost, but we're flexible and will always talk you through the options first.
Do Mental Health First Aid and IOSH courses come with the plans?
These sit outside our standard team plans and are available as add-ons. Let us know what your team needs and we'll include them in your quote.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Monthly billing requires a 12-month commitment. Yearly billing is our discounted option, paid annually upfront, with no separate contract required.
We already have a Learning Management System — can we still use MoreCPD?
Yes. We can supply SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, or xAPI (Tin Can) packages that drop directly into your existing LMS with full tracking, so you don't need to switch platforms.
How do we oversee training across the whole team, not just track certificates?
Every plan from Starter upwards includes a manager reporting dashboard. From there you can see progress and completions across your whole team, add or remove staff and courses, and handle all the admin in one place — no spreadsheets, and no waiting on IT.
What is CPD accreditation and why does it matter?
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation means a course has been independently reviewed and approved as meeting recognised training standards. All MoreCPD courses are CPD-certified, so the certificates your staff earn are recognised by regulators, professional bodies, and clients as genuine evidence of training — not just a certificate of attendance.

How do I train new starters as part of onboarding?
Add new employees to your business account at any time and assign them the relevant courses — there's no need to wait for a new billing cycle or re-enrol your whole team. Their progress and certificates appear on your dashboard alongside everyone else's from day one.
Can we add our own logo and branding to the training platform?
Yes. Every plan except Subcontractor/Solo lets you rebrand the platform with your own logo and brand colours, so your team logs into something that looks like your organisation's own training portal rather than a generic third-party site.
What's the difference between the Solo plan and the team plans?
Solo is a single-person account for individual professional development — it includes course access and certificate tracking, but no team-management tools, since there's no team to manage. Starter and above are built for organisations: they add a manager dashboard, audit trail, exportable compliance reports, platform rebranding, and a dedicated account manager, with pricing scaling by staff count rather than by feature.
Is our staff and certificate data kept secure and GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Staff records, course progress, and certificates are stored securely and handled in line with UK GDPR requirements. Only your organisation's designated managers or account admin can access your team's data.
Can we manage staff across multiple sites or departments from one account?
Yes. Your business account and manager dashboard cover your whole organisation, so you can manage staff, courses, and certificates across multiple sites, departments, or teams from a single login — no need for separate accounts per location.
