What is the difference between compliance training and mandatory training?

Compliance training is the broader category of learning that supports legal, regulatory, contractual or organisational requirements. Mandatory training is learning that an organisation requires particular people to complete. The two often overlap, but the exact requirements depend on the sector and role.

Does completing an online course make our organisation compliant?

No. A completion certificate records that a learner completed a course. It does not prove that every legal or regulatory duty has been met. Training should sit alongside suitable policies, risk controls, practical instruction, supervision and role-specific arrangements where required.

Can managers track employee completion and certificates?

Growth covers 11–30 employees for £95 + VAT a month, while Business covers 31–75 employees for £195 + VAT a month. Monthly billing requires a 12-month commitment, and annual billing costs the equivalent of 10 monthly payments.

Is an LMS included with every plan?

The manager LMS is included from Starter upwards. Solo gives one learner access to the library with certificate tracking and expiry alerts, but it does not include the manager dashboard, organisation branding or exportable team reports.

Are IOSH and Mental Health First Aid included?

No. IOSH and Mental Health First Aid courses are outside the standard staff training library and are available separately.

Can we use MoreCPD courses in our existing LMS?

Yes. MoreCPD can provide selected course content through SCORM or xAPI under a separate licensing arrangement. Contact the team to discuss compatibility, content and pricing.
